Credit or Debit Card

One Time Donations

You will receive your e-receipt once the transaction has been processed.

Recurring Donations

Deductions will be made to your credit/debit card based on your selected donation frequency, on the first Tuesday of the month. If the first deduction attempt fails, then we will make subsequent attempts on the following Tuesday.

You will receive a consolidated e-receipt in March each year for your preceding-year donations.

  1. Log in to your bank via online banking or the mobile banking app.
  2. Scan the QR code above, or select PayNow, tap on UEN (Unique Entity Number), and enter S65SS0033F. “Singapore Cancer Society” will automatically appear if the UEN is keyed in correctly.
  3. Enter your desired donation amount.
  4. If you wish to receive tax exemption, kindly indicate your Full NRIC/FIN/UEN in the reference number field. 
If you wish to become a recurring donor, please donate online via credit or debit card.

Interbank GIRO

Please download, complete, and mail the original hardcopy of the GIRO form to us. The approval process will take approximately 1-2 months. Once the GIRO application is approved, deductions will be made on the 25th of every month.

Please note the following when completing the GIRO form:

  1. If you used your fingerprint instead of a signature for bank account verification, you will need to get your fingerprint verified and witnessed at the bank before mailing the form to us.
  2. If you have made any changes or cancellations on the form, please counter-sign next to those changes/cancellations.
  3. Please do not use any form of correction tape on the form.

Ways to Leave a Legacy

Making a CPF Nomination

You may wish to speak with your accountant, financial planner, or lawyer to make arrangements to bequeath part or all of your estate in support of SCS’ work.

There are two ways to make a CPF Nomination:

  1. In-person Make an appointment at any CPF regional office and complete the nomination form in the presence of CPF staff. 
  2. Online nomination Submit your CPF Nomination via the CPF website using your Singpass. To nominate SCS as a beneficiary in your CPF Nomination, please use the following details:
    • Name of nominee: Singapore Cancer Society
    • Identification type: Registration number
    • Registration number: S65SS0033F
    • Relationship: Organisation

Insurance Policy

Please refer to the Insurance Nomination Guide below on how to make a nomination, and reach out to your insurance agent if you would like assistance with the nomination process. They will be able to walk you through the steps and help you include the Singapore Cancer Society as a beneficiary.

Making a Will is an important way to ensure that your estate is distributed according to your wishes and that the people and causes you care about are provided for.

Including a gift to Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) in your Will is a straightforward process. When preparing your Will, please ensure the following details are clearly indicated:

Support our work by contributing essential items, vouchers, or services that help power our programmes and events. In-kind donations can benefit our cancer prevention efforts, public education programmes, screening roadshows, and fundraising activities—helping us reach and support more people in the community.
There are many ways to partner SCS through in-kind giving, such as supermarket vouchers, event prizes, healthy snacks, or vehicles.
All donations in kind are subject to approval and will be assessed based on suitability and programme needs. Donations of medical equipment, diapers, and food supplements will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, guided by our beneficiaries’ needs.

How is my donation used?

A: All donations go into the Singapore Cancer Society’s General Fund, which supports a wide range of critical programmes. Your gift helps us provide cancer awareness and prevention initiatives, free cancer screening, financial assistance, rehabilitation, psychological support, cancer support services, and home hospice care.

A: Yes, all donations to the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) are tax-deductible. When you provide your NRIC / FIN / UEN, your donation details will be sent directly to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and the deduction will be automatically included in your tax assessment.

There is no need to declare the donation amount in your income tax return. IRAS will no longer accept claims for tax deduction based on tax-deductible receipts.

A: In 2024, SCS screened more than 65,000 individuals and provided 1,443 patients and their families with guidance and coordination in their cancer journey.

SCS had also disbursed $2.51 million to 1,905 beneficiaries through its financial aid and welfare services, providing critical support to ensure no one faces the journey alone.

Rehabilitation remains an integral part of cancer care and treatment, and SCS’ rehabilitation centre has served 3,438 individuals since it started in 2016, with programmes catered to all stages for cancer patients and survivors.

With the prevalence of scam calls, we ask that you take precautions and be informed of the protocols undertaken by the Singapore Cancer Society (SCS).   Phishing is a type of cyber-attack via Email, SMS or Phone Call for scammers to trick victims into revealing sensitive information such as login credentials, credit card information, or bank account details. We maintain controls to protect our network and system from cyber security threats. Our staff abide by strict protocols and procedures in safeguarding your donations, transactions and ensures your personal data are only verified for official purposes.   Here are some tips to help you identify and verify the legitimacy of sources. 1. Be Alert:
  • Do not provide sensitive personal information (like usernames and passwords) over email or SMS.
  • Watch for email or SMS that originates from unknown/misleading sources, domains or senders. Be careful of malicious sites.
  • Inspect URLs carefully. Ensure you are accessing our secure online donation portal via org.sg website:
Do not click on links or attachments from senders that you do not recognise.  
  1. Know Our Protocols:
You may receive a phone call from our staff when your submitted donation form is incomplete. When a staff calls to verify the details of your donation, he/she will ask for your:
  • Full name
  • NRIC/FIN (the last 4 characters only)
  • Mobile number
When you call us to process your donation via credit/debit card; we will request for:
  • Cardholder’s name as per the credit/debit card for which the donation is to be deducted from
  • Credit/debit card 16-digit numbers
  • Credit/debit card expiry date
To verify the identity of Singapore Cancer Society (SCS) staff, please contact our toll-free hotline at 1800-727-3333 or email us at fund_raising@singaporecancersociety.org.sg and provide the name of the SCS staff member who contacted you.   We will never ask for the CVV number of your card or one-time password.
